Three-time All-American and 1992 National Champion in the 3000m steeplechase for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he graduated in 1996 with a degree in Architecture. Co-founder of The Back Porch Bakery, which serves wholesale bread to over 200 locations across the Central Coast. Began coaching at SLOHS in 2024 as a girls track distance assistant; later took on the head role for girls cross country.
Has been a coach in the San Luis Obispo area for over 30 years. Enjoys helping athletes achieve success not only on the track but in life.
Burlington, Washington native entering his second year at Cal Poly studying Kinesiology. Started pole vaulting his freshman year of high school.
